Now you see it...now you don't!

Kendall has discovered the joy of art.  If you put a pen or a pencil, crayon whatever in her hand you can be sure that she will put it to good use.  The other day Kendall (unbeknown to me) got a hold of a blue ball point pen.  She decided to draw all over my microfiber couch.  I mean all over, the pictures don't even show the extent to what the damage was.   I was not in despair though, the internet is full of ideas to take stains out.  I was confident it could be fixed.  Well, the fix was quite easy.  I just used regular hand sanitizer and it came right out, and no damage to my couch.  It's a miracle!!

Aahh, good job keeping a cool head! When Noah was a baby he used a black Sharpie to draw some beautiful artwork all over our comforter. I now use that comforter as an extra, for camping, etc., but would love to know how to get that ink out. Come across any ideas for that in your research? I'll be storing away the hand sanitizer tidbit for future use! :)

Thank goodness for microfiber! Anything comes out of that! Our glider rocker is microfiber and we haven't seen a stain that wouldn't come out yet. Haven't heard of using hand sanitizer yet...good idea!
