Here is one of my first attempts at cake decorating. I hope you can make out what it is. Ethen plays golf with Erik all the time, and I thought this cake was perfect. My sister says the flag looks like a chewed up piece of gum...sadly it does. It was fun to do, and believe it or not the completed product was my 3rd attempt. Now I know why I don't do this very often. It is an art.
Our backyard is pretty much a big hill which we thought was perfect for slip and slide. It was kind of cold this day, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Our neighbors even came over for the fun.

Cute cake! Much better that any attempts I have made at cakes. There are no pictures in existance it was that bad.
